Mikapon…Your Wish is My Command!
Oh no!!! I have created an Idol faux pas!!! Team B’s Komori Mika recently noted that she has been noticing an increasing number of people calling her by the nickname “Komorin”. While in actuality she really prefers to be called by her traditional nickname “Mikapon”
When I first read that I felt really bad, as I have been one to champion the other nickname. I hope I didn’t insult her. T__T Believe me Mikapon, I was using the other nick as a term of endearment…really! It just rolls of the tongue so well. But if you prefer me to call you Mikapon in the future, it will be my honor to comply!!! I want my favorite idols to be happy! 🙂 By the way, she also noted something about this being an “American Joke”, although I’m not sure what that means. Could she possible be reading the various Western AKB48 fan sites? Or…is it possible she may be reading this blog??? (sweat drop!)
