The reason that I love so much of Team Syachihoko (and other Stardust groups like Momoiro Clover Z, Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku, Takoyaki Rainbow, Batten Shoujotai etc) is that their music is just good. So, as someone who is incredibly excited for Team Syachihoko&#8217;s second album to come out, I&#8217;ve been listening to their music a lot. While Team Syachihoko has had a lot of success over a wide variety of genres and sounds, they&#8217;re at their most consistently excellent when they have a song with a lot of energy. Not many groups have the same level of energy and just flat out oddness as Syachi, so all of their music that explores that is pretty special.<\/p>\n<p>Dakishimete Anthem was the clear standout track from Himatsubushi, Team Syachihoko&#8217;s first album, and I think it&#8217;s mostly because of its relentless energy. Even though the song has a lot of sections and a lot of variation (such as Haruna&#8217;s rap section), it is just pure endless energy. This is the type of song that would get just about any fan hyped up at a concert &#8211; I haven&#8217;t been lucky enough to go to a Team Syachihoko concert, but just watching the concert blu rays I know that this is a big concert song. <\/p>\n<p>While you can be sure that this isn&#8217;t the last Syachihoko song I&#8217;ll feature in my Song of the Day posts, Dakishimete Anthem is one of the standout Syachi tracks and is one of my favorite idol songs period.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The fact I haven&#8217;t featured Team Syachihoko yet is a shame.
