Haruna Took Eight Steps!

Stayed home from work today, so I was around when Haruna took eight steps towards me without falling down or plopping on her butt. Again, a wonderful reminder that there’s much more to life than any job.

My First Father’s Day!

It’s funny how much I’ve settled into and enjoyed being a Dad. But it helps to have such a wonderful baby girl, after all. Someone who’ll sit on my lap and demand to watch J-idol videos with me, who screeches at the top of her lungs in delight, who thinks it’s funny to kick me in the nuts. The best thing is certainly that she is such a good-natured, happy baby – and robustly healthy, which I’m always thankful for.
